Manuscript volume in oblong format (22 × 16 cm) with 6 hand-ruled staves per page. 534 numbered pages, plus a title page bearing the heading “Collezione di Laudi Sacre / Per / la Processione del Gesu [sic] morto / Proprietà di Romualdo Marianetti / 1882” and an index of authors and works included, comprising a total of 58 compositions by about thirty composers.
On p. 98, within a box, the heading “N° 9 / Crolla Ahimè – Aria a 3 Voci / di Giacomo Puccini”, followed on pp. 99-107 by 65 bars of music with parts marked “Tenore 1°”, “Tenore 2°”, “Basso”. G minor, 4/4, “Adagio”.
