Parts for Nos. 1 and 2 consisting of 2 “Violino Primo”, 2 “Violino Secondo”, 1 “Viola”, 2 “Violoncello”; 7 leaves in all, written on both sides, 4° (ca. 30.3 × 22.4 cm; one of the “Violino Primo” parts ca. 29 × 22 cm), 12 staves (the part differing in size has an extra 13th staff ).
Non-autograph title “Minuetto di G. Puccini” and non-autograph indications of the instruments. In each part, the pieces are numbered “1” and “2”.
Set of parts for performances with string orchestra (4 + 4 + 2 + 4) probably written for the first performance in Lucca, September 1881 (see NOTES).

Supplement to the set of autograph violin parts of 61.B.2, probably intended for a performance of Minuet no. 1 by an expanded string orchestra.

Copy of No. 1 in a version for piano, comprising 5 pages of music. The title page, in a decorative handwriting, states: “A S.A.Reale / Vittoria Augusta / di Borbone-Capoa [sic] / Minuetto / per / Quartetto / Riduzione per Piano-Forte / Giacomo Puccini.” Several of the expression marks were written in Puccini’s hand. The heading “Minuetto” and the tempo indication “Andante molto Sostenuto” were written by a professional copyist. Other than that, this painstaking copy of the music could have been made by Puccini’s brother Michele.
This is probably the dedication copy for Vittoria Augusta (see NOTES).

)1 leaf, 4° (33 × 24 cm) with 10 staves, written on both sides, comprising the “Contrabasso” and "Violoncello" parts for No. 1.
This is a copy, probably by Michele Puccini, of the double bass part, later crossed out and replaced on the verso of the leaf with the cello part. Together with 61.C.4, it forms a further, incomplete set of parts for Minuet no. 1, presumably intended for a performance by string orchestra, also comprising a double bass part.

PN 506, 507, and 508 for the individual minuets, and PN 509 for all three together, 5+5+7 pages, comprising 14 pages of music, 4°.
According to an announcement in 61.E.1b, Pigna later offered the edition for sale without the original No. 2, i.e. after it had been used in Manon Lescaut (64) (1893). My attempts to locate a copy of this partial edition proved unsuccessful.

This arrangement — like the other partial editions of 61.E.1 and 61.E.1a without the original No. 2 — was obviously published after Manon Lescaut (64), in which this piece had been used. It is possible that this edition was prepared specifically in connection with the publication of the Minuetti in France (see 61.E.2, 61.E.2a, and 61.E.2b).
